I read a tweet that said, it’s officially the season for “let’s connect after the holidays”.

We really only have about four meaningful weeks left to be productive and creative this year before our routines are thrown out the window with travel, family, holiday parties, buying gifts, reflecting on the past, and feeling uncertainty about the future.

So here are three mantras to use between now and January…

  1. Do Less: Fewer exceptions from yourself and for others, less gift shopping, fewer commitments.

  2. Double-Time: There is nothing you will do that won’t take longer than usual this time of year so double or triple the time you think you need.

  3. No/Nah/Nope: “Yes” is your most precious resource, everyone wants it from you, guard it with your life. “No” is your most powerful tool, use it often.
